What is a Dinosaur?
The Dinosaur Award recognizes individuals for both their contributions to AMUG and years of experience with a technology.
Each year board members review the list of conference registrants and selects no more than five dinosaurs for each technology. This exhaustive review considers:
- Contributions to AMUG (e.g., speaker, volunteer)
- Contributions to the AM industry
- Year of hands-on work with an AM technology
- Skill level
- And other subjective factors
This makes the Dinosaur Award very prestigious.
